Why is good nutrition important for people with HIV?

Good nutrition is about finding and maintaining a healthy eating style. Good nutrition supports overall health and helps maintain the immune system. It also helps people with HIV maintain a healthy weight and absorb HIV medicines

We partner with Mama’s Kitchen to provide nutrition classes and cooking demonstrations. These classes will focus on how diet impacts common health issues affecting people living with HIV.

The nutrition class topics are based on a survey of participants each year. The 2025 survey is now closed, here are the results (Priority Order).
