We partner with Nick Kempker, a personal trainer with degrees in Kinesiology and public health as well as years of experience working with elderly and PLWH. to provide nutrition classes and individual dietary consulting to participants. These classes will focus on how diet impacts common health issues affecting people living with HIV.
Our drop-in exercise program will begin each session with stretching out and then go through a series of exercises designed to build strength, mobility and improve balance.
Each exercise may have both a basic and advanced version to allow each participant to advance as they are ready.
Regular participants will undergo periodic assessments to determine progress towards their goals.
