ASA Covers key strategies for successful aging with HIV
I came across the May/June edition of the American Society for Aging ‘s Generations newsletter and found it both timely and interesting. Its talks about a comprehensive strategy for providing care to aging PLWH. I have seen similar multi-discipline programs, such as the Silver program in the NIH in the UK, but all bring together people from multiple disciplines to develop a care plan for those at risk of frailty or isolation. It highlights the need to include socialization, diet and activity int the plan. check it out!
